In pursuit of one's life purpose,
There comes a defining moment
In the form of a refining crisis
Setting one free from a confining limitation
Thus empowering one to step into greatness.
In other words…
The thing I thought was going
to kill me
is what made me alive.
The thing I thought was going
to reduce me
is what enlarged me.
The thing I thought was going
to count me out
is what brought me in.
The thing I thought was going
to knock me out
is what raised me up.
The thing you think is going
to destroy you
is the very thing
that is going to bring you to the next level.
The thing you thought you'd lost
is the very thing you needed to lose
in order to find the real thing God has called you to do.
Your steps are ordered by the Lord,
And God has His hands on your life.
Having done all to stand, stand therefore.
Take a "hit" -- Put on the full armor.
The helmet of salvation,
The breastplate of righteousness
The shield of faith … are all defensive weapons.
That means that Christians must learn
how to take a "hit".
There is only one offensive weapon,
And that's the sword of the Spirit;
That's the Word of God.
