Harvest Celebration Evangelistic Church
Member of the Church of God in Christ, Inc.

Since its inception, Harvest Celebration Evangelistic Church has been an active member of the Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C.).  The Church of God in Christ, Inc is one of the oldest and largest Pentecostal/Holiness body of believers in the world.  All ministers of this church have active credentials, and/or have received ordination through the organization.  The Church of God in Christ is a church of the Lord Jesus Christ in which the Word of God is preached, ordinances are administered and the doctrine of sanctification and holiness is emphasized as being essential to the salvation of mankind.

The Presiding Bishop of the Church of God in Christ is currently Bishop Charles Edward Blake.  On a jurisdictional level, Harvest Celebration Evangelistic Church, Inc. resides in the Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Southern Mississippi under the leadership of jurisdiction Bishop A. V. Jordan.

Elder Timothy T. Scott, Jr. has been a part of Mississippi Southern Second Jurisdiction since it inception in 1982.  He has also served within the organization as Jurisdictional Secretary of the Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Southern Mississippi since 1988.
